Hi and a warm welcome to my blog!

My name is Manuela and I live in a small town outside of Atlanta. We're a one-income family so I have to do most everything within a very confined budget, but I consider that a challenge to my creativity! Home is where my heart is! That's what I blog about. It's about the joy of living on less, bringing creativity to the art of making a home and garden and finding joy in the simple things. I like to do simple projects that look expensive and practically everything in my home is thrifted or bought at a discount. I like to garden, paint furniture, decorate, bake, sew, and I'm learning to knit and crochet.
