Oops Paint

I found this yummy oops paint ( paint that's been mistinted or in this case returned by someone) at Home Depot yesterday and thought it would be perfect for this mirror which I'm putting in my screened in porch. $5 for a whole gallon of paint! I'm sure most of you already know about this, but you can get quarts for $1 and gallons for $5 at the HD in the "oops" section by paint. They also have closeout colors of spray paint. I don't know how much they are at Lowe's.

I've had this mirror for months and knew I wanted to paint it but wasn't sure what color until I saw that paint. A first coat on the mirror. I was going to paint it totally solid but I kind of like how that original color peeks through. My husband says it's very "Vampire Lestat"! I'll see when it's all dry if I'll do a second coat.

I'm liking this color so much I'm going to repaint that red ladderback chair this color. That's the great thing about paint - all it takes is time to transform something!

I love 'oops' paint...I have 3 gallons on hand now, and they're just waiting to provide the inspiration for a new project. I love that color on the mirror!

I will have to look for some "oops" paint! I have been spray painting thrifted items for my daughters apartment at school all week. I kept coming inside and getting something else to paint and decided it was time to stop!

Thanks for your good decorating ideas and welcome back!

I was at our Lowes today and their gallons of mistints were $5 too. I don't remember how much the smaller ones were.
Lowes had quite a few mistints today, I'ver heard holiday weekends are when they usually have a lot of them too.

your blue is lovely!

I love that blue, and I love oops paint! I have way too much of it, but it is so cheap how can you not pick up a quart now and then?

Wow, that's a great shade of blue too!! I know about Oops paint, but it seems my Home Depot only has gross colors like orange and fuscia when I'm looking for some.

Blessings,
