Daffodils

Have your daffodils bloomed? Mine are in full bloom - my tulips are about done though. This is all that I have left!

I'm still working on my "How to Build a Raised Veggie Bed" post! Writing about it is waaaay harder than making one!

I'll be back Friday.

It's so pretty at your house. We still have some snow in our front yard. I was able to do a bit of cleaning up over the weekend and we have some crocus shooting up. They haven't flowered yet though.

Winter is lingering here in VA and my garden is coming to live veeerrrry slowly.

I LOVE the statue with the white daffodils around it. That is beautiful!

Everything looks great there. My poor little daffodils are freezing to death. They're huddled together quivering.

I'll be interested to learn how to make a raised vegetable garden. I'm interested in trying one on a small scale.

Lovely garden photos. A pleasant reminder that Spring is indeed here. Although, I think I need to move South as I'm very envious of how springish your gardens appear. Ours still look like the dead of winter in Indiana. Fingers crossed, we should have tulips just in time for Easter. :)

Hi Manuela -
Our daffodils are just beginning to show their glory! And our tulips are popping up through the ground to grace our lives soon. I can't wait for it be full-fledged Spring here in Oregon. It's close, so close.

We are working on our first raised beds. We've had gardens for many years but this year my sweetheart has so much going he can't do the gardening. I want to try my hand at it so he's building raised beds for me - something I've wanted for a long time! He will be my consultant or my source of rescue if I get myself into trouble!

Looking forward to your raised bed post.

They are beautiful, these visitors in spring. They fade so quickly but the do their job. The pull us out of the dispair of winter and promise us the season to come.

That's interesting that your tulips beat your daffodils, here they are always the other way around. Maybe your tulip bulbs are planted more shallow than mine. Beautiful photos.

Hi Manuela -
My daffodils and tulips are not out yet. It has been so cold. There is still about 6 inches of snow on the ground here...

I can't wait to hear about your raised vegetable beds. I'm starting square foot gardening this year.

I can't wait to read about the raised veggie bed! I created a raised bed last summer but never planted in it. I will this spring, that's for sure!

Loved your garden photos. I went back to some of your older post and had to laugh....I am doing a tablescape for a client tom. and went to Big Lots for some vases ect. I did not get the same ones that you did, but close. I may take some pictures for my blog. Thanks for the ideal and for visiting today.

Love your beautiful flowers. Most of the daffodils are gone around here. I noticed today, many flower beds still had lots of tulips. Really like your statue.

Here in the Pacific Northwest (WA), I only have green sprouts - NO COLOR yet - it just isn't fair - the cold temps and endless rain are really hard this time of year... but I foresee a very colorful late Spring for us! Your yard looks lovely! Our church gals do a fabulous blog full of great healthy and some not-so-healthy recipes - there is a link to it on my site... momswhocook.blogspot.com - thanks for the comment!

Hi Manuela, you home indoors and outdoors is superb. Doesn't it make you happy when you see your yard with flowers? I know it does me. I hope you get going on your raised bed so that we can have a looksy. Thx for sharing the good stuff Manuela. Take care and have a great Thursday.

My daffodils have been up for about a week here in Ohio! The only other thing I've seen is the neighbor's forsythia bush! No tulips, yet! Yours are beautiful!
