Nests

Look at this cute "Nest" plaque Vee ( A Haven for Vee ) made for me! Isn't it just darling! Do you see the button she put on the "N". So cute! The colors and paper she used are just perfect. Thank you Vee, I love it! I love it so much I framed it!

I made this plate about year ago and I think it looks so cute with Vee's plaque!

All I did was use Archival Ink in Jet Black, a nest stamp and a plain white plate. Load your stamp and press it on the plate, let it dry and you're good to go. You can use any stamp you have. I don't know if all inks will work the same though. I made this last March and as you can see it's just fine!

Go ahead and try it! It's so easy!

Inspiring as usual Miss Manuela.
Thanks for getting back to me about the gardening box question.

I am going to remove the bottom to get off to the right start.

Thanks again,

I love those plate projects. You come up with all kinds of ideas. Did you hear about that new bill some members of congress want to pass? HR875. Look it up and see what you think. It has to do with growing your vegetables and sharing them. They want to oust that. Can you believe that? I'm not a political person but my friend yaya told me about it. I really don't understand the bill but I know they are saying that veggies that are grown and not inspected can not be given to others. ????? please. Take care.

What a cute plaque, and you made it your own by framing it - love the mat you paired it with. Thanks for stopping by my post today. BTW, when checking out the full size bedspread vs the king size coverlet, it's a good idea to check the actual dimensions. In my case, they were almost identical in size and the same fabric, but the price was $30 cheaper for the full sized bedspread. You just never know where you can be frugal!! Sally

What a sweet sign you have there!

I never knew you could stamp a plate, great idea! Plus I am loving that blue and white quilt underneath...

Super cute stamping idea! I have stamped on old scrabble tiles, to make necklaces. You have to sand the back slightly, to remove varnish, and then stamp. Let dry and then I seal it with a polyurethane. I may post a tutorial on my blog, so stay tuned! Thanks for another great idea!

Hi Manuela....thanks so much for checking in to see if I was back...I'm going to post tomorrow for Tbalescape Thursday....I love how you stamped the plate....I have tons of rubbr stamps and never thought to do that...Where do you get that ink? At Michaels?? I went to Goodwill up in Woodstock yesterday and got the best plates...I found a big white platter that says "Quiche....Omelete....Pizza"....4 little dessert dish's that are haind painted and 4 April Cornell dessert plates...they were expensive for Goodwill at $3.00 a piece...but the platter and the 4 handpainted dishs were $3.00 each...
