Outdoor Wednesday

 birdhouse
Hi everyone! Today I’m joining Susan's Outdoor Wednesday. My garden is a little behind this year. I’m sure it’s do to the loooong winter we’ve had! But some things have bloomed and some are on the verge.
Birchbed

It’s funny how the bulbs in this bed have bloomed but the bulbs in  a bed in my front yard haven’t!
statue

Purple
The one Mahonia that I have. It has fragrant yellow flowers in the spring and blueish berries in the fall which the birds love.
Mahonia
forsythia
When the Forsythia starts to bloom, then I know for certain it’s spring!

daffodils
Pussywillow

This HUGE Pussywillow was just a stick when I planted it almost 10 years  ago! It's almost as tall as that Leyland Cypress.

Pussywillowsdetail

Camellia
This Camellia always has blooms in the winter and then again in spring.

backdoor
I always like to have a few annuals in this pot to brighten  my backdoor. Red and yellow my favorite color combination!

primroses

Be sure to stop by A Southern Daydreamer to see the other participants for Outdoor Wednesday.

Thanks so much for stopping by to see my blooms today. Hopefully, there will be more next week!

We have been working so hard on getting our vegetable garden going that I have totally neglected my front flower beds. I really need some color in my life.

I got very excited today when I saw a forsythia blooming in a yard I passed by.

The tulips are coming up but are still a ways away from blooming here while the crocus have been blooming for over a week in spots.

Your flowers are great.

Thanks for sharing.

Your yard is looking very springy and pretty. This is such an exciting time in the garden ~ something new every day, it seems.
I love your blue door with "welcome" stenciled on it.

Ummmm. . . I can just smell those flowers! I love hyacinths outdoors. . . indoors the smell can be overwhelming, but out in the sunshine--yummy!

And I love that you have your own pussy willow! What a great thing to have in ample supply right in your own garden!

Lucky you to have flowers blooming. New house so there is not a thing in the yard yet! But hubby has been working hard the last few days since it been in the 60's but they say this will be the last day for awhile (snow and cold is on its way).

Happy St. Patricks Day!
