Shopping The 80% Off Aisle At Hobby Lobby

Hi everyone! Last weekend I went to Hobby Lobby for the first time since April (which is a long time for me~smile) and I went straight to the 80% off aisles. I should have taken my camera for those of you that don’t have a Hobby Lobby.

Photo2
The deals in those aisles are just amazing! Picture shelves and shelves of all kinds of candlesticks, obelisks, frames, art, signs, decorative items etc….all 80% off the original price! Want to see what I got for $17?
photo3
I got these three things!

rooster
Love the black rooster (which looks very similar to the one I painted white from Goodwill).

Rosterprice
To give you an idea of the pricing in those aisles - the rooster was $6 and the cross was $3 and the picture was $8.

Newcross
I added the new cross to the crosses that are in our hallway (top right).

Crosses2
It’s hard to photograph that wall since the hallway is small (I had to stand in the hall closet for this one LOL)!

smallcrosses
It was fun to shop Hobby Lobby especially since my Husband and Daughter left me there while they did other errands. Usually they walk around a bit then sit at the front waiting for me. This time I could look at everything at my leisure. Plus I hadn’t been in a few months so there were a lot of new things to see!
Framedcross
A few things that will be coming up….Friday I’ll have photos of my living room china cabinet decorated for the 4th of July and the following Monday will be the July Book Giveaway.

As always, thanks for taking the time to stop by and visit today!

How awesome! Ours isn't having any clearance sales so I guess it depends on what part of the country. They did ours about 4 months ago. Love your great finds!!

I love it all...you always find the best deals! There is no store like that anywhere near me but I sure wish there was! Come say hi sometime :D

You are just TAUNTING me! We have no Hobby Lobby in California. NOT FAIR! I had heard a rumor they might be coming last summer . . . but have not heard anything since then.
Love your wall. It is just gorgeous! I particularly like the one mounted on the music paper in the frame. So pretty!
Have a safe and happy 4th of July!
:) Karen

You did fantastic!! Love all 3 of your finds!! I am SO sad we don't have Hobby Lobby!! My cousin lives in Alabama and she has got me some goodies from there!! Infact my plant shelf in the family room is filled with birdhouses from there, LOL! She took pictures of them for me and got them for a steal and then when she came to visit she drove them up!! Long distance decorating! Yes, we are crazy! LOL but in a good way! ;)

Great scores!! I love them all, and the prices are wonderful.

In fact, you have nudged me to take a field trip to our Hobby Lobby during my errand run this afternoon. I haven't been in a while, and that discount aisle is calling my name.

The display of crosses in your hallway are great--especially with the yellow wall background.
This morning I saw an ad in the help wanted section of the paper from Hobby Lobby accepting applications. They will be opening a store VERY close to me. YEA!! At last. I've been so jealous of all you Hobby Lobbiers! (;0)

Manuela, I just got home from Hobby Lobby! I didn't find the rooster in their aisles. I went back because I'd been in there on Monday and saw something wonderfully priced, but had to come home and measure and mull it over. Went back to get it and will be showing it next time myself. Don't you just love HL? I also saw that their rubber stamps were 40% off and got a few. Thought of you.

Great finds. This reminds me of a course I once took that espoused the theory to never buy anything that wasn't at least 40% off. Eighty per cent off is fantastic!

Ooooo you did good. I love all three.

Hi Manuela! What a great find...I LOVE Hobby Lobby. That chicken is like the base on a little lamp I bought online earlier this year. We're heading into the city tomorrow and Hobby Lobby is on my list of places to go so I'm going to check out that 80% off isle. If I find something good I'll have to post it! Enjoy your day and have fun hunting for treasures. Maura :)
