Hi everyone! I wanted to take a moment and to say a big thank you to all of you who are regular readers of my blog! It doesn’t matter if you are a “follower”, subscriber, or just pop in regularly to see what I’ve been up to. I appreciate all of you who take the time to drop by!
So I wanted to have a little giveaway, just to say thanks, and wanted something that most people could use. How about an Amazon GC? How about two?
There are over a 1000 of you that are “following” and more of you that subscribe via Bloglines and Google Reader and I don’t know how many of you just drop by now and then, but I don’t know half of you! So leave me a comment on this post so I can get to know you. That's all you have to do. It can be as simple as “Hi my name is _________ please enter me”. Or you can tell me a little bit about you. Now some of you I’ve “known” for years (you know who you are) so just say Hi unless you’re feeling chatty!
I’m giving away two $25 Amazon GC’s. I’ll leave this post open to comments until Saturday night and announce the recipients of the GC’s on Sunday. As always, I’ll use one of the random number picker thingies! The GC’s will be emailed to the winners from Amazon. I'm not sure how Amazon works in other countries, but I'm willing to send it to you if you live outside the US. So as far as I'm concerned everyone can enter.

I’ll be hard at work finishing up painting the paneling in my family room the rest of this week (yes, I have a red couch and there's not a bit of toile in that room!) Hopefully I'll have at least one corner to show you next week LOL!

Hello Manuela, I have a question about painting your paneling. I painted mine in the living room the same color yellow as in your picture. I love it. I also painted my bedroom paneling in a sage green. The paint in the bedroom seems to 'scratch' easily. I didn't do anything different. I primed both rooms first before painting them. I was wondering how you prepared your walls before painting. Maybe my paint was different brands or quality. I've had to 'touch up' my bedroom walls already.

I too love toile and I enjoy your blog. I recently saw black & white toile curtains in a B&B that was a fire station years ago. The windows were huge paladiums and the curtains ran floor to ceiling. Gorgeous!

I've been dropping by for a bit over a year now. This past week I needed a vacation...So I took one here at home reading the archives of this blog! Yesterday I was cleaning and decluttering the china storage and decided to roll my placemats (thank you! They fit much better and now I can see what I have) and I used a whole separate drawer to lay out napkins in stacks of like colors.
I've been interested to read all your money saving ways, gardening ideas and such. I'm learning about decorating after 30 years of homemaking.
