Prism Tree & Organizing Book Winner

Hello everyone! The winner of the book is Miss Pink Ponsonby @ Miss Pink Ponsonby's Swell Soiree (isn’t that a fun name for a blog). Visit her blog to say congratulations when you get a chance. Miss PP I need your mailing address and I’ll ship it out Monday.

I’m taking down the last of the Christmas decor today but I wanted to show you the little arrangement I made for my foyer.
prismtree
While organizing my linen closet (post to come), I found some blue prisms that used to hang on my sconce in the living room (when it was decorated in blues and browns –can you imagine?) and some extra clear ones. I saw this idea in a magazine while waiting at the dentist, but they just used a few clear prisms (don’t remember the name of the mag).

My moss is being blocked by the Christmas boxes in the mess that is my garage,  so I used some filler from a box of Hickory Farms Sausages on top. It looks a bit messy in the photos but in person it looks like ruffles around the edge of the vase.

Just a little something sparkly to greet you on these dark January days.

Oh I love a bit of sparkle in winter...it perfectly matches what's going on outside. Looking forward to the closet reorganizing. Perhaps you'll have some tips for us before I begin my own closet reorganizing.

Oh Manuela! I do love how creative minds can work, lol. I used MY stuffing from the Hickory Farms box as 'straw' for the creches, lol. I wouldn't toss it this year either, planning to see how I might use it next year!

I'm going over to visit Miss P's blog and see what she's all about, I deleted all but a very favored few (you are on that list) and am looking for NEW inspiration from others in this new year.

Congrats to Miss Pink!

Our Christmas bling is down and I'm (almost) done packing it away. The house seems bare without the twinkle lights and glitter. Your sparkly prism tree is a great fiX!

PS: Oooh, and neXt month, it could be transformed into a valentine tree by adding vintage valentines, bits of ribbon/lace, or XoXoX's!

That is such a great idea, and using that filler is ingenious. I always think that its so pretty, but I've never thought of another use for it. I should've asked you :-)
Have a wonderful weekend Manuela!

I need some help... a while back you featured an author and gave me her email but I lost it. Can you send it to me again? Sorry.
