Don't Hate Me!

Two chairs from Goodwill......$14.41!!!! You know how you see something from far away and you say to yourself "oh please, oh please, oh please don't let anybody else get to that before me!" and your heart is racing? Well, that was me - I snatched that tag off of those chairs so fast! Wow - I don't even have to paint them!

They both have small tears in the seats but I would put a cushion on them any way. I only needed one but I had to buy both of them. Now I've got to figure out what to do with the other one. I might have to re-arrange some things in my living room. What a horrible dilemma ~ giggle!

If it weren't for the fact that they're from Goodwill, I'd be jealous! ;) Now, if you had said you found them at a garage sale I'd be absolutely green with envy. Regardless, they're great, Manuela, and were definitely quite a deal!

Too late, I definitely hate you. Those chairs are gorgeous! Don't you sometimes wonder what they are thinking when they price something like that so low?

What an incredible bargain! Since you only need one, my home address is....only kidding. Why do I only see yucky chairs when I go to Goodwill.

They will look great in your house. I'm thinking some kind of black and white seat covers.

Feel like taking a trip to the Asheville area? You could bring one to me! What a wonderful buy! I have never seen anything nearly as nice in my local Goodwill

oh my! I think you must have gotten the deal of the century. They are just beautiful. Our Goodwill would probably have had $100.00 on them.

Manuela! What a great find! I love these chairs, and at that price, it's impossible to beat!

I found your blog a little earlier and loved your last post (I have that same wonderful bone ball in two sizes). Not sure how I found you (following some bread crumbs from another board, no doubt), but then I saw your link on Diane's board. So this was a double pleasure!

Hope you'll drop by and visit at my blog. My husband found two chairs on the curb, and they have served us well with only a coat of paint or two. Yours, though, don't even need to be painted!!!

Thanks for sharing,

Sheila

Manuela,
You are a woman after my heart! Beautiful chairs...

Once I was in a Goodwill Store and saw a beautiful chair. I couldn't make the price out on the tag. I turned and saw another one so I carried the pair to the cashier and asked the price. She said well, they normally would be $1.50 each but today they are half price so they were 75 cents each....nothing to do to them....

Blessings...Betty

What a wonderful find! Toile here she comes! Now if you can't find a place for the other chair, you can ship it to me in Mississippi! Wow, that was wonderful find! I am going to try and get out more. After being on the road for 5 years. I need to find out if all the old places or still around. I know there is one antique mall in Jackson. And some High dollar stores. Last one I went to had my coffee table which I paid $8.00 years ago, in the shop it was around $500.00, sh sh, don't tell hubby, or it might go there. lol
