Thanks so much for the all the well wishes! I'm feeling a bit better. Not quite up to my normal energy levels but at least I'm able to do a few things. I started working on a few Valentine things this week. One of them is a sign that says "Be Sweet". I painted over the sign I made for Thanksgiving (didn't I say you'd be seeing that sign again and again!). It turned out much better than the first sign I made!
This time I used a paint pen instead of a paintbrush and it was much easier for me to control. I printed out the words at 270 on Microsoft Works Word Processor - I forget the name of the font. I probably could have gone larger. I did like before and used artists charcoal on the back. Set the words on the board and traced around them with a dull pencil. Then I filled them in with the paint pen and wiped away the charcoal residue. I hope you try making your own sign - they're really very easy to make!
One of the guys who works at Goodwill always says "Be Sweet" when you say good-bye to him.
***And now for the winner of the give-a-way.......Tina (who doesn't have a blog) said "I rarely comment, but I read your blog each and every day. It's great!" I've sent you an email. Please email me your address and I'll get your package out to you sometime next week. I'm amazed at all the people that entered - Thank you!
I'm looking forward to catching up with all of you!

Glad you're feeling better Manuela. Thanks for the info on the sign. I'll have to my son cut my board and I'll try making one. Have a great weekend! We're supposed to be in the 70's here today. Yardwork here I come.
What an adorable sign - and your directions are so simple!
I may need to do this project!
Glad you are on the mend!
I'm glad that you're feeling better too, and I love your blog! Thanks for the great idea and easy to follow instructions, I'll have to try this. I've never decorated much for Valentine's Day, but this year I'm inspired!
M, glad you are feeling better. I had that crud with strep a few weeks ago. Not fun. Sign is perfect!
Congratulations Tina!
I worked out a lot b/c I did not have a choice. Not sure if it helped or hurt. I really have no opinion there. But if not running a fever, working out some (some being a key word) tends to speed up the healing process.
I am loving that sign! You did great! Is that a printed font? I want to redo a sign I have...And put it in the gameroom/Saloon...How could I do that? I think I want to put "The Old Saloon"...Let me know...Be Sweet...;) Have you been over to my blog lately...I'm starting a blog that we all share called Project: {Create A Home}...I'd love to have you join in...You know how much I adore your talent and your home making...You teach us how to be better wives/mothers through your own blog...Love ya,Meme

I enjoyed visiting your blog. That is a sweet little sign and so easy to do...is that a paint pen you are using? I also like the organizing tips. I, too, have been decluttering in 2009. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Natalie
Looks Great Manuela! I'm working on some signs now too!!
I stumbled upon your blog a few weeks ago and am hooked. There is hardly a day that goes by that I don't stop in and see what you are doing. The sign is great as it reminds me of a saying of my own grandmothers'. She would always tell us to "Keep Sweet". You have inspired me to put it in print.
I was just scrolling through your blog when I found the Be Sweet post. I made this last February 2010, and it turned out so cute. Thank you.
Cheers! Rita
