The Jane Austen Pillow
Hi everyone! I thought I’d show you all another little thing I bought from etsy and a few changes that I made in the Blue Toile Room (otherwise known as the Guestroom/my office/my husband’s dressing room).
I’m a huge Jane Austen fan! So when I was looking at etsy I was pleasantly surprised to find a seller that makes little sachet/pillows with quotes from various JA books.
I had to get one! Isn’t cute! I just love the quote too - it's so true. Plus the back of it is blue and white toile (toile and Jane Austen - how could I resist). This is from etsy seller Anna's Trunk.
I recently painted a mirror I got at Goodwill and hung it above the bed (some of you may remember that this is the one that was still in the box from Bombay Company and gold).
Here are a few other pictures.
I'm waiting for the weather to warm up to paint the furniture on the other side of the room and then I'll show you the whole room. I have so many things that need painting! I'm so ready for spring - even I am starting to feel a wee bit blah with all this cold, rain and snow!
I hope you are all having a wonderful week so far and thank you for all the lovely comments about my new tassel! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one "under tasseled" (love that!).

Hi there!
I just bought a leather bound version of all Jane Austen novels. And I am bound and determined to read the entire thing! LOL. YEAH RIGHT! Well, I'm going to give it my best shot.
Love the toile, and the mirror and the Jane things. I could look through all the marvelous "shops" on Etsy all day. Good thing I have a day job so I can't!
Thanks for sharing!

Well, even if it is cold there, that is a beautiful, sunny room!

What a cute mirror! It looks perfect in that room. Do you mind telling me what paint and color you used? The window panel and all the bird prints make that room so dainty and inviting!
You're definitelly not undertasseled. In fact I don't have a single one. I guess I didn't even realize there was such a trend! Love JA too. I think Emma is my favorite!

What a lovely room. I do like the pillow -- I like the quote and may have to borrow it to embroider on something. Have a wonderful weekend.
Now you've really touched my heart strings. I LOVE Jane Austen. I have a birthday coming up and guess where I'm headed to find me a pillow?
Where did you get those little books on the table? One says The Netherfield Ball. I've never seen those.
The room looks adorable and so warm.....
Your night stand vignette is beautiful!!! Thanks for sharing.
Your room looks so warm and cozy! I can relate to painting projects, lol. I have quite a few left on my to do list and am waiting til it warms up a bit. Although, I may brave the cold and get some painting done since I can be so impatient! :)
What a Manuela space this is! I love the way you're making it so reflective of your personality.
I've been meaning to tell you that I made some covered candles. I was inspired by you, of course. I posted a photo of them on my blog today and linked back to you. I love them!
Take care!
