Show & Tell Friday!

Show and Tell

For Show & Tell I thought I'd share one of my favorite prints. I got this years ago and I just love what it says.

I also love the soft watercolor roses!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone! I'll be back on Sunday with more money saving tips left by readers and a few that I do.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm, so victorian looking. I too love the softness and the captioning ....perfect.

My Show n Tell is something I made for Halloween, if you'd like to stop over and critique it I'd be happy.

Dear Manuela,

This is such a beautiful print and I love the saying. The watercolor roses are gorgeous too.

Thank you for visiting me and for your kind comments. Yes, I have seen Jane's blog, yarnstorm. Thank you for mentioning it.

I have a money saving tip to contribute. I make our own toothpowder using equal amounts of sea salt, baking soda, and a little ground sage (which helps whiten your teeth). You can also use peppermint. I have some growing in my garden that I plan to dry, grind and add to the tooth powder. This cleans your teeth well and is very economical. I put the powder in clean glass spice jars that I saved to reuse, wet my toothbrush and sprinkle the powder on.

Have a lovely weekend, Paula

Hi, first time here, love your blog!
Caught a glimpse of your ceiling tile backsplash in one of your photos & was wondering if you could show/tell a bit about it. I am thinking about putting the same in my kitchen & would appreciate your tips, advice, etc as someone who has already been there/done that!!

Thanks. I will be visiting often!

Hello, Manuela! I just found your blog through another, though strangely enough, not Kelli's even though I've been a regular visitor at her place for over two years now!

Just had to say hello after looking over some of your past posts, since we are so very much alike! I see we practice some of the same money-saving techniques: hanging clothes, saving water (you can also stick a container in your shower - we use our watering cans), "if it's yellow let it mellow...", thrifting, making due, doing it yourself, etc!

You have a lovely, warm looking home and a terrific blog. I'll be back again and hope you drop by my little corner of the internet to say hello sometime.

Blessings,
Nicole

HI there! Just found your blog! I actually painted that house blessing quote on my staircase wall in the home we just moved from. Everyone loved seeing that - you could view it from the entryway. It has to be one of my favorite sayings.
