Win a $100 Home Depot Gift Card

Hi everyone! I've partnered with the Home Depot Garden Club to give away a $100 Home Depot Gift Card to one of my readers! Isn't that fabulous! I'm very excited to be able to do this and I'll tell how to enter in a minute but first I want to tell you about the Home Depot Garden Club.

It's a really wonderful resource that covers landscaping, gardening, lawn care, and outdoor living!

  • It has a plant library where you can search either by the code on your HD plant tag or you can search by plant name.
  • You can get answers to all your outdoor questions within 24 hours!
  • They have valuable information about your region, gardening advice from pros and updates on local gardening events.
  • They have great D.I.Y. projects
  • Registered members receive coupons and discounts delivered via E-mail!

  • What You Need to Do to Enter

1.Visit the Home Depot Garden Club
    2. You may register if you like but it's not necessary to enter. I'm a member.
    3. Take a look at their D.I.Y projects which can be found under each main category. For example, if you put your cursor on Gardening you'll get a drop down menu and D.I.Y. will be an option.
    4. Come back and tell me which D.I.Y project from ANY OF THEIR CATEGORIES you'd like to try doing yourself.
****EDITED: PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS - I'VE HAD TO DELETE SOME ENTRIES ALEADY!

You have until Friday midnight PST to enter and I will use the Random Number Generator to pick a winner Saturday Morning. Please be sure I have a way to contact you. You'll need to send me your address so that I can mail you the Gift Card.

One entry per person. I'll delete any duplicates. You don't have to have a blog to enter. If you've never left a comment before, here's your chance and you might win!

I'm not getting anything for doing this giveaway (not even a GC for me). This blog is ad free so increased traffic doesn't add to my bottom line. I just thought this would be something that you all would benefit from. It's a great site and who couldn't use an extra $100 at Home Depot. Just think of all the flowers you could buy! Very important - you have to use the link above. If we have a really good turnout there's the possibility of having this giveaway again. So use the link above and explore the site! I think you'll be glad you did.

I'm really interested in the raised garden bed from their Landscaping category. I try every year to grow tomatoes in the back of my yard but my dogs are having none of that. I've looked at premade kits but they're way to expensive and I think I can undertake it myself, especially with Home Depots directions. I think it will look wonderful and I'll be able to keep the dogs from destroying my bounty.

Training a vine over an arbor would be good to learn. We have something that would be lovely with flowers/vines growing on it.

My project: "installing pavers in sand" . Thanks for the Home Depot Gardening Club link. I didn't know about it! I need all the help I can get.

Every time we go into Home Depot I see the signs for the Garden Club. I don't know why it has taken me so long to sign up. We just started raised beds in our garden this year so that project is out... the one that caught my eye first was the Pruning a Rosebush. We just moved into a rental home and there are well over 15 rose bushes and I have no idea how to prune them! Thanks for the link to all this great info!

Thanks for sharing the site and for the chance to win the gift card (fingers crossed!)

I would like to try to lay a garden path (under the Landscaping DIY section). The instructions on the site were very helpful. Hhhmmmm, do I see a "project" in my future?

The Giveaway is wonderful especially for the Spring! I chose "Lay Garden Path" from the Landscaping catergory. We are truly needing to do this in our yard.

The project I would like to learn how to do is put brick pavers on sand. I could use a new patio. Ours is very small and I would love to tackle this project.

What a great give-a-way Manuela! What bounty of ideas and tips from Home Depot that I was unaware of...have already learned quite a bit in just reading from this site. I would love to try the "making a garden path" do-it-yourself plan. That's just what my garden needs!

I would love to make the tea cart. I don't know how "good" I would be at making it, but oh the possibilities with that project. Thank you for entering me,

Thanks for the link! I'll sign up this weekend, but the project I most want to do is build raised beds for vegetable gardening. It looks like I could do it myself!

I love your beautiful yellow iris. They're gorgeous. I liked the storage box. It's a great place to put pillows and things that need to be stored. I've been thinking I might need something like that. Mimi

I liked the Caring for Annuals DIY under the gardening. My annuals just didn't take this year, and this gave me some ideas to improve on them when I replant.
Thanks for the link and thank you for the chance to enter this contest.

I will be checking out the HD site more often now for ideas!

I like the "build a ring toss". Seems like that would be a fun thing to make for all my nephews, niece and my daughter.

Interested in starting the seeds indoors. I actually learned alot from the comments that people left, in particular about peppers being started in plastic cups instead of the regular peat cups. And I am interested in trying the newspaper cups for starting seeds as the peat ones can be expensive. Enjoyed reading the articles, thanks for the opportunity!
