It's Fall! (I hope!)

We've been having cooler temperatures so I'm hoping that it means fall is here! I have my last (I hope) dental appointment today so I thought we'd revist some things I've done with faux pumpkins to get in the mood to add a few fall touches to our homes!

To answer some questions about the Master Bath in the post below. The ticking stripe roman shade came from Target almost 9 years ago(I've shown it in previous posts about that bathroom) and the shower curtain is from Bed Bath and Beyond two years ago so I don't know if it's still available. The harlequin & fleur switch plate is from Hobby Lobby.

Pumpkins in tiny pots Fall 2007

Pumpkin w/fabric leaves & ribbon 2007

Pumpkin Topiary 2008 using rub ons

Pumpkin with leaf stickers

Pumpkin with stencilled fleur

Pumpkin in a jar

Green Pumpkin Target 2008

Of course, to save money, the thing to do is to buy fall stuff on clearance during the previous season. Which is what I did with some faux pumpkins so I could try some different things with them this year!

I hope this gives you some ideas of what you can do with those fake pumpkins!

I love your fall pumpkins! Every year I look forward to seeing what you have come up with to dress them up. I saw some the other day where someone had taken fake jewels (in black) and did a sparkley fluer. I will have to try that one this year!

It does feel like fall. It's really exciting that it may actually be here! I hope that all is well at your dentist appointment. I know that you will be glad to have them over with.

Enjoy your holiday weekend,
Jennifer

Ahh I love them all! I can’t wait to put out all my Fall stuff. I’ve already been lighting my Fall candles (pumpkin spice and nutmeg, yum).

It's not quite Fall here in the South but I am sure acting like it is! I packed away the summer decor yesterday and getting the fall goodies out today. It will be October or close to it when I start buying my real pumpkins, mums, pansies and all the fun stuff for outdoors. I LOVE FALL!

And these are wonderful ideas! Thank you for sharing them and providing the track-backs for us.

I've been in the throes of dental work, too. My mouth is a minefield. I feel your pain.

Take care!

Oh my goodness how ca-uuuutte!
Love the fleur-di-lis. I would never have thought to dress up a pumpkin so pretty. I found a sage green one to match our family room at Kirklands and didn't buy it. I'm going back for it today.

Have a wonderful Holiday Manuela!
Let me know if you like the book and the recipe. ~Melissa :)

Manuela, that is just too cute! I love the pumpkin topiary! And I never thought to stencil a pumpkin!

I'm with you, I Hope Fall is right around the corner. I'm tired of these hot, smokey over 100 degree days here in So Cal.

Come on by my blog and see what's up! I'm calling it "Doors of Welcome". I hope you join in!!! I think it's going to be a very fun event!
Have a safe long weekend!

Love the pumpkins! I going to skip fall this year! lol Since I go to surgery in October, I hoping to get a Christmas tree up and some decorations done. So I will enjoy all your fall! Well the girls may do a table setting for my youngest Birthday. We always do jack o lanterns then, but they may do it without me. I told them just bring the cake to the hospital and we will have a party! lol They probable kick us all out! Wish I bought some of those tiny pumpkins last year! I think I saw some at the dollar tree!
