Bloomin Tuesday!

Please visit Jean http://msgreenthumbjean.blogspot.com/ for more Bloomin Tuesday posts!

One of the great things about living in Georgia is the long growing season! There are still lots of things bloomin and some just beginning to bloom.

The Crape Myrtles are still going strong. I trim some of the first bloom and usually am able to get a second smaller bloom.

My Knock Out Roses don't stop blooming until the first frost. These are really the best most carefree roses I have in my Garden.

This poor Don Juan Rose had trouble this year. I don't really like to spray so I only sprayed it once this summer and because we had so much rain and humidity it had a bad case of black spot. So I grew a pink Mandevilla up it! It's still in the pot. It's an annual here anyway and I didn't want to disturb the roots of the rose.

The Forever & Ever Hydrangeas are still producing nice size blooms. There's a white one coming out that I really want!

Lastly, my Sedum has finally bloomed!

I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the things still blooming in my yard. Tomorrow I'll have some more Fall decorating in my dining room.

Everything is on its last leg up here in Michigan. Time to cut back and clean up for next spring in my garden. The only thing worth looking at are the black eyed susans. I wouldn't mind the longer growing season you have!

so, the purple hydrangea blooms are the older blooms on the same plant as the light blue blooms?

wow...if so, then I really need to get at least 1 of those :)

Your flowers are looking fantastic, even the rose with black spot looks better than anything I have here. It was so rainy and miserable in the Northeast this year that nothing did very well.

You must do special wonderful things with your multiple shades of hydrangeas.
